It does cost a little bit of money to be in the Eagle Band but these expenses can be defrayed through fundraising.

what if i play a double-reed instrument?
Double-reed players play a school-owned instrument during concert season and will either audition for a spot on the Drumline, as a member of the Battery or Front Ensemble, or will play another instrument during marching season. Double-reed players may also elect to audition for the Color Guard as another performance-based alternative to playing their main instrument.

The Eagle Band has a limited number of school-owned instruments available and they are given out on a first-come, first-served, as-needed basis.
what concert band will i be in?
Concert Band placement is based on an audition process that takes place twice a year. Members of the Eagle Band audition both in the Fall and in the Spring to determine the next semester's band placement.
what do we do in case of inclement weather?
In the case of bad weather, it is nearly impossible to notify every band member and band parent of changes to the band schedule. Therefore, all band students should report to the rehearsal or performance locale as originally planned. If an event is cancelled, students will be dismissed from there. Bottom Line: Show up anyway!
