ALL-STATE AREA AUDITION INFORMATION
To tryout for All-State Area auditions, students must first
tryout at the Region level (See Region
Band). Students who are certified to the Area level will then audition
again in Abilene at ACU for the All-State band. Our Area (Area A) includes most of West
Texas, from Abilene to El Paso to Amarillo.
The top players are chosen by a blind judging panel to participate in the
Texas All-State Band Clinic and Concert, as part of the Annual TMEA Convention
in San Antonio. This year All-State/TMEA will be February
14-17th.
